The reason is that acne problems start inside of the body. Acne is just a symptom that let's you know you have an imbalance in your body. Treating these imbalances is the only way to treat your acne.

How do you treat these imbalances? Well there are a variety but some of the most influential ones are the foods we eat and the amount of water we drink. More specifically, they typical western diet that most people eat is just not conducive to clear skin.

We know this to be true because populations that don't eat the typical Western diet have no instances of acne whatsoever, nor do they have any instances of diseases such as obesity or diabetes.
