Every Other Day Diet Intended Designed For Every Dieter

To help people lose weight and stay satisfied the Every Other Day Diet allows one day of eating normally and next day of dieting only consuming 300-400 calories on that day. The diet was designed by Dr. Daugirdas.

Those who suffer from heart or kidney disease, hypertension, diabetes, strokes or eating disorders should not use this diet. The diet has not received complete and comprehensive studies.

Some diets, like the low calorie ones, can cause the metabolism to slow down. In an effort to avoid this, the diet was designed to allow certain days of eating regularly.

Do not over eat binge on normal days but eat a variety of foods that are healthy and satisfying. Restrict the amount of sweets and snacking on cookies or candy. A big breakfast is recommended while eating after 7pm should be avoided.

There are recommended caloric intakes for men and women. Depending on age and activity level, men should eat'00 to 2400 calories per day while women should eat 1200 to'00 per day.

Learning a new way to think about fat, calories and how your body handles both is the primary goal of this diet. Understand that fat is fuel for our bodies. It is also a part of everyday life.
