Medication And Blood Pressure
If you think about Blood pressure Medication, you may also think about side effects. That goes for any medication.
I bet there aren't many of us that read the info leaflet that comes with our medication and if we did, we would probably think that the potential side effects were harder to live with than the thing they were treating.
This is not to say that if you take these medicines that you will suffer all the possible side effects stated or indeed any of them it just means it is a possibility and you would be pretty unlucky to suffer them all. So what can you do, is there an alternative.
There has always been alternatives to prescribed medication and there has been skepticism about whether any of them actually work. But it has got to be worth a try, well in my opinion anyway. Think about this for a minute, prescribed medication is dished out far to easily and at an alarming rate. Which is why the Pharmaceutical Industry is making obscene amounts of money.
All medications including Blood Pressure medication should be the last thing prescribed. Alternatives need to be exhausted first and possible lifestyle changes are the first thing to be considered. it is surprising how simple adjustment to how we live on a daily basis can have a sizeable impact on bringing down High Blood Pressure.
Because of the amount of people that are living their life everyday with Hypertension without even knowing it, I think this is something that should be covered more in the media. Our governments should making people more aware of how dangerous high blood pressure can be to our health and wellbeing.
Before we are given any medication to treat Hypertension and endure the possibility of any side effects, we have to look at more natural options and lifestyle changes that will help treat this condition.
Now is the right time to make sure you don't have Hypertension by getting checked out. If your test shows you having higher than normal Blood Pressure then before you accept any medication check out any kind of alternative including changes to the way you live your daily life.
As a side note to that there are cases where medication is unavoidable. Your Doctor can explain this but if not then you should be given the option to try and lower it naturally yourself before any kind of medication is involved.
