The Rowing Machine is the Answer to your Fitness Needs

The most effective piece of gym equipment you can buy yourself is the rowing machine which will dramatically improve your fitness and body in the most efficient way possible. The results can be amazing.

For an all out cardio routine that will blast all your muscles you cant beat a rowing machine. Nothing, with the exception of swimming, comes close to working your entire body and therefore the results are seen all over your body.

It is easy when using other fitness equipment to injure yourself without realising it. With the constant pounding on the treadmill for instance you can find after extensive use that your knees will have become worn from the continual impact. You dont have this problem with a rowing machine.

The rowing machine looks like an easy piece of equipment to use but you still have to know how to use it correctly. The one area that could experience discomfort is your back. Nobody likes back pain but as long as you use the right form you shouldnt have a problem.

Okay, so you like the idea of a rowing machine but how on earth do you choose the right one for you? Ideally, you should have tried a rowing machine before to ensure you are comfortable using one. After that, it really depends on how serious you are about it. Try to avoid cheap and nasty machines as these are less solid and could lead to injury.

You can spend as much as $1500 on a professional concept 2 rowing machine but it is unlikely you will need to spend this much. If you are serious about buying a rowing machine then I wouldnt advise spending less than $200 or you will be seriously sacrificing the quality of the machine.

Persistance with your rowing machine will bring great results to your entire body. And although they work quicker for you than other equipment because of the full body cardio workout you are getting it can be very tedious at times. But dont give up and the results will come!

People use all sorts of techinques for relieving the boredom of rowing machine workouts including placing the rowing machine in front of the television. I do this myself. I watch a 30 minute TV program and that will be my workout. I know I cant stop until the program finishes so it helps with motivation too.
