What Are Some Negative Acai Berry Side Effects?
With all the hype about the acai berry and its great weight loss properties and high antioxidant content I could not help but wonder if there were any negative acai berry side effects. After all if thousands of people are going to take them, including myself, then I think we should know a little bit what to expect in a negative way.
Interestingly enough the berry themselves have absolutely no negative side effects. The problem comes when those who are involved in the manufacturing and packaging add extra ingredients to their product. Now do not get me wrong it does have to be packaged right in order to have benefit for us but we also need to be careful with what has been put in the product we will be taking.
I suppose since the acai is a fruit berry that if you ate enough of them you might get diarrhea like you would if you ate to much of any fruit. But then unless you live in South America you will not have to worry too much about that since the acai berry does not ship very well. In fact as far as I can tell it needs to be processed almost immediately or it will go bad. Hence the need to package it in order to preserve the power packed in the grape sized berry.
The acai berry supplement that I use is not full of man-made chemicals and has been proven to do what it is supposed to do. I like this supplement because of the all-natural ingredients it has which helps the body to do it job in a more efficient manner.
As I have already stated, I have found no negative acai berry side effects but I have found many positive benefits to this amazing fruit. Perhaps the benefit that I would highlight the most is an increased libido. I saw one report that the native Brazilian when asked if the berry raised his libido just got this huge grin on his face and nodded his head in pleasure.
A major Southern University has done an intensive scientific study of the acai berry and found that it destroyed many cultured cancer cells. That is certainly a good thing. Along with that finding they also found that the berry has many other beneficial things like amino acids and essential fats that our bodies need.
One of the reasons I began taking the acai berry supplement was because my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were off the chart. And when I say off the chart I mean way up there. I knew that I had to do something so a change in diet and acai berry supplement and I have been able to lower it considerably. Of course there are no guarantees that you will do the same but it is a benefit of acai.
I have been taking acai berry for quite some time now and can really tell that it has been a benefit for me. I have cut away some extra pounds, my cholesterol levels have balanced out and I have more drive. I love the stuff and will continue to take it.
